Mitsubishi Electric has extended its innovative MDT series with the addition of a 65-inch (1,639mm) LCD Public Display. The full HD appliance lays claims to being a display with brilliant optics – namely, from two points of view, On the technical side, among other things, it offers optimal brightness and contrast values in changing lighting conditions thanks to its automatically regulated image brightness control, an integrated image splitter and a CAT5 receiver which is also built-in. As a result, a flexible series of individual displays up to a cable length of 150 metres is guaranteed without losses in the image quality. The monitor control is effected via LAN. The MDT652S also sets new standards in the area of design. The smart, black housing made of fine brushed aluminium is only 31 mm thick and takes nothing away from the effect of the razor-sharp image information. The display can be installed vertically or horizontally. That allows images and information to be attractively presented in every location: no matter whether in shopping centres, airports, waiting zones, conference rooms or even temporarily in the event or trade fair area. Incidentally, the 65” display is currently one of the flattest and. with a net weight of 46.5 kg, one of the lightest displays on the market.
