Impressive images, even in small spaces
The business projector EW230U-ST which Mitsubishi Electric has now introduced to the market, is specially designed for extremely short projection distances. The new model operates at a distance of only 63 cm, producing clear, sharp presentations on a projection surface with an image diagonal of over 150 cm. This corresponds to a projection ratio of approx. 0.5:1. A further advantage: thanks to the extremely short path of the light beam which is made possible by the special lens, no more disturbing shadows of the presenter now appear. Mounted on the ceiling, namely, the image is projected over the head of the presenter, so to speak. The use of the EW230U-ST – incidentally it is a Wide XGA projector also designed for wide image formats - thus ensures that even in the smallest rooms or with limited space, there is no need to forego impressive presentations.
The EW230U-ST is equipped with Brilliant ColorTM technology, operates with a brightness of 2.500 ANSI lumen (with a contrast ratio of 2000:1) and is 3D-ready. The handy device weighs only 2.8 kg, is networkable and is, therefore, ideally suited to mobile applications in different rooms. Password protection and an anti-theft device provide safety on the spot.
The short-throw projector can be comfortably operated by remote control and can be set up and dismantled equally quickly: for example, the adaptation to different wall colours can be effected effortlessly via the practical wall-screen function and the integrated instant shut-down function facilitates immediate switching off. The direct access to the lamp from above is also convenient and with a lamp life of 4.000 hours in low mode is only rarely necessary. In addition the extremely quiet ventilator with an operating noise of only 29 dB is designed for the special acoustics conditions in small rooms.
